Community Guidelines

Simple rules that help everyone have amazing travel experiences together.

Tripzic is a community of travelers, hosts, and explorers. These guidelines ensure every member has a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience.

1. Be Respectful

  • Treat all travelers, hosts, and locals with kindness and respect
  • Embrace diversity — our community includes people of all backgrounds, religions, and cultures
  • Use appropriate language in messages, reviews, and group chats
  • Respect personal boundaries and privacy of fellow travelers

2. Be Honest

  • Use your real name and a genuine profile photo
  • Provide accurate information when booking or hosting
  • Write honest reviews based on your actual experience
  • Don't misrepresent yourself, your qualifications, or your offerings

3. Be Safe

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by hosts and guides
  • Don't engage in illegal activities during trips
  • Report unsafe situations or behavior immediately
  • Respect the environment — leave no trace at natural destinations
  • Alcohol consumption should be moderate and not affect others' experience

4. Be Responsible

  • Show up on time for scheduled departures and activities
  • Communicate promptly if plans change or you need to cancel
  • Take care of shared spaces and equipment
  • Pay for your bookings on time and honor cancellation policies

5. Guidelines for Hosts

  • Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing for your trips
  • Respond to booking inquiries within 24 hours
  • Ensure safety standards are met for all activities
  • Never discriminate against travelers based on race, gender, religion, or disability
  • Handle cancellations and changes fairly and transparently

6. Zero Tolerance

The following will result in immediate account suspension:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threats of any kind
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, or sexual orientation
  • Fraud, scams, or intentional misrepresentation
  • Sharing explicit or inappropriate content
  • Violence or threats of violence
  • Drug use or trafficking

7. Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Warning — First minor offense
  • Temporary suspension — Repeated violations or moderate offenses
  • Permanent ban — Severe violations or continued behavior after warnings

All enforcement decisions are made by the Tripzic Trust & Safety team and can be appealed within 14 days.
