Azerbaijan is one of the most rewarding yet under-visited destinations available to Bangladeshi travelers, a country at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia where ancient Silk Road cities meet a dramatic modern capital. But applying for an Azerbaijan tourist visa from Bangladesh involves a process that is more complex than most destinations, and understanding it before you start saves significant time, money, and frustration.
The most important fact: there is no Azerbaijan embassy or consulate in Bangladesh. The nearest diplomatic mission is the Embassy of Azerbaijan in New Delhi, India. This means every Bangladeshi applicant must route their application through New Delhi, either by sending an authorized representative in person, or by using a licensed visa processing agency with a partner network in India, like Tripzic.
The second most important fact: an Invitation Letter approved by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is mandatory for all tourist visa applicants. This is not a letter your travel agent can write. It must come from your host, hotel, or business contact in Azerbaijan, formally submitted to and approved by the Azerbaijani MFA. The approved letter is valid for only 30 days — which means the entire visa process, including New Delhi transit time, must be completed within that window.
Two things most agency don't tell you: First, the realistic timeline is not the 10–20 working days the embassy quotes it is 25–32 calendar days once you factor in transit time between Dhaka and New Delhi (3–5 working days each way). Apply at least 45–50 days before your travel date. Second, the HIV test certificate is only valid for 1 month from the date of testing. Get tested 2–3 days before submitting your documents to Tripzic not two weeks before, or the certificate may expire before your visa is collected.
No eVisa (ASAN Visa) is available for Bangladeshi passport holders. No Visa on Arrival is available. The physical sticker visa through New Delhi is the only route.
Tripzic manages the complete process from Dhaka — document review, submission to New Delhi through our authorised partner network, application tracking, and passport return. You do not need to travel to India. You do not need to find your own representative in New Delhi. You hand us your documents and passport, and we handle everything until the visa sticker is in your hands.
Start by securing your Invitation Letter. Then contact Tripzic immediately.
Embassy fee is separate and paid directly or included depending on package.
