Indonesia Tourist eVisa for Bangladeshi Citizens

Indonesia Bali's rice terraces and coral reefs, Borobudur's ancient Buddhist spires, Komodo dragons on remote islands, Raja Ampat's world-record coral diversity — is one of the most extraordinary destinations accessible from Bangladesh. And the visa process is where almost every Bangladeshi travel guide gets it wrong.

The standard Indonesia eVOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) at molina.imigrasi.go.id is not available for Bangladeshi passport holders. Bangladesh is not among the 97 countries on the eVOA eligible list. Bangladeshi nationals must apply for a guarantor-backed eVisa at evisa.imigrasi.go.id — which requires an Indonesian citizen, permanent resident, or registered Indonesian company to act as sponsor.

This is the step that makes solo Indonesia visa applications difficult for most Bangladeshis. Without an Indonesian contact, the application cannot be submitted.
