This visa requires embassy submission of your original passport. You can drop off at our office, send via courier, or we can pick up from your address (pickup fee: ৳300).
The Philippines is one of Southeast Asia's most extraordinary destinations — 7,641 islands of white-sand beaches, turquoise water, ancient rice terraces, and extraordinary marine life. For Bangladeshi travellers, it requires advance planning: there is no eVisa and no Visa on Arrival for Bangladeshi passport holders. A physical sticker visa applied at the Embassy of the Philippines in Dhaka is the only route.
The critical thing most guides don't tell you: the eTravel QR code.
Even after you receive your visa, there is one more mandatory step before your flight. Every passenger arriving in the Philippines must register at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before departure. You receive a QR code — without it, airlines may refuse boarding and Philippine immigration may cause delays on arrival. This replaced the old paper Arrival Card in 2023 and is now firmly embedded in the arrival process. Complete it after booking your confirmed flight, not at the time of visa application.
What the Embassy actually looks for in a Philippines visa application from Bangladesh:
Three things matter above everything else. First, a specific, credible itinerary — name the exact islands and cities you plan to visit (Palawan, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol), align them with your hotel bookings, and make the travel purpose unmistakably clear. "Sightseeing in the Philippines" will not pass. Second, a consistent bank statement showing ৳2,00,000–3,00,000 across the last 3–6 months with regular transactions — not a sudden large deposit the week before your application. Third, strong ties to Bangladesh — employment proof, family commitments, property documents, or any combination that makes it clear you will return home.
No eVisa. No Visa on Arrival. These are facts, not outdated information. The Philippines eVisa is available only to nationals of a small group of countries that does not include Bangladesh. Any guide or agent suggesting otherwise is either misinformed or working from outdated data.
The embassy may call you for an interview within 5 working days of submission. This is routine — attend with the same documents and answer honestly and consistently with what you submitted.
Processing takes 7–21 working days at the embassy. Apply at least 4–6 weeks before travel, and 6–8 weeks during peak periods.
Tripzic prepares your complete document file cover letter, itinerary, bank statement review, hotel bookings, employer NOC, and per-applicant-type checklist — submits to the embassy, tracks your application, and briefs you for the interview if called. The online application form on this page starts the process. You never need to visit the embassy yourself.
Processing timeline coming soon. Typical processing: 7–21 business days.
Embassy fee is separate and paid directly or included depending on package.
